The candidate must have passed the two-year Pre-University Examination or its equivalent with English as one of the subjects and Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as optional subjects. The candidate must have obtained at least 45% of the total marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.
Students should have 80% attendance each in theory and practical. The student should complete 11 months duration of that particular academic year before appearing for the examination. The principal should certify that the candidate’s performance and conduct are satisfactory. If a student fails in one theory paper or practical examination, she/he may sit for a supplementary examination in the failed subjects or practical held subsequently.
